I’m a native of Minnesota. In 2004 I moved to Los Angeles with a head full of screenplays. A year later I had writer’s block and was roaming around Hollywood with a camera. Shortly after, I became hooked and started to immerse myself in photography.
In 2007, I founded LPV Magazine, a site dedicated to showcasing documentary and fine art photography as well as writing about photography in the digital age.
In 2009 I moved to New York City where I have continued with my creative pursuits.
